RTB Develops New Online Dispute Resolution System

The Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) is developing a new online portal to process disputes between landlords and tenants.

This portal will allow users to apply and pay for dispute resolution, submit evidence, and track case progress.

A pilot version is scheduled for testing by key stakeholder groups in June 2025, with full availability expected by the fourth quarter of 2025.

This initiative follows the rollout of a previous IT system that exceeded its budget and failed to include the intended functionalities.
